Directions

Getting to Kauaʻi

  • Airport: You’ll want to fly into Līhu‘e Airport (LIH), the island’s main airport. Most major airlines offer nonstop flights from the West Coast, or you can connect through Honolulu (HNL).

  • Transportation: We recommend renting a car. Kauaʻi is best explored at your own pace, and taxis or ride-shares are limited.

  • Wedding Venue: Kukuiʻula on the South Shore of Kauaʻi.

Getting Around the Island

  • Driving: Consider renting a vehicle to explore the island. Allow extra time; roads are two lanes and traffic can be slow. But the views are worth it!

  • Turo is a great option for affordable and convenient car rentals.

Travel Tips

  • Book flights and accommodations early; September is a popular time to visit.

  • Always use protection! Reef safe sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses of course ;)

Where to Stay

We recommend staying in the Poʻipū area for its close proximity to our wedding venue and the variety of nearby accommodations. We have rooms blocked off for wedding guests at Koloa Landing Resort. Group rooms (studios-three bedroom villas) and rates are offered September 8 - 17, 2026.
